These terms cover your use of Bahth, a search application for Salla stores operated by USAMA ATIF ABDULLAH BAKKAR Establishment. Installing the app means you accept them.
What the service does
Bahth replaces the product search in your Salla storefront with one that tolerates Arabic spelling variation and typos, and reports back which searches returned nothing. It reads your product catalogue from Salla and keeps an indexed copy so that searches can be answered quickly.
Bahth is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Salla.
What it does not do
- It never modifies your products, orders, customers or store settings. The app requests read-only access to your catalogue.
- It does not take over your storefront. If our service is slow, unreachable, or your catalogue has not finished indexing, your storefront falls back to Salla’s own search automatically. Search continues to work without us.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content of your catalogue, including having the right to the product names, descriptions and images we index.
- You are the controller of your shoppers’ data. Your own privacy policy should reflect that a third-party search provider processes what shoppers type into your search box. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what that involves.
- You may not attempt to use the service to access another merchant’s data, or to send us content you know to be unlawful.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available and fast, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service and we do not offer a service level agreement at this time. Because the storefront falls back to Salla’s own search when we are unavailable, an outage on our side degrades search quality rather than breaking your store.
We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give installed merchants reasonable notice as per Salla’s terms.
Fees
Subscription fees, trial periods and billing are handled by Salla through their app store, under their billing terms. Cancelling through Salla ends your subscription.
Ending it
You may uninstall at any time from your Salla dashboard. We stop serving search for your store immediately, and your storefront reverts to Salla’s built-in search.
We retain your store record and indexed catalogue after an uninstall so that reinstalling does not require re-indexing everything. To have it deleted instead, write to bahth@uaab.sa.
We may suspend an account that is abusing the service or placing it at risk, and we will say why when we do.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost sales or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the three months before the claim arose.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and disputes are subject to its courts.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to installed merchants, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
